MISCO celebrated the 50th National Day of Oman in great festivity and energy on 18th November at Sohar. The occasion was a great respite for the MISCO family after being in the shadow of the pandemic for long. The event started by 3 pm in the afternoon and the weather was just perfect for the outdoor gathering. Social distancing was observed in the seating arrangement and the event included management and employees from both Sohar and Muscat. The team at Sohar put together a string of cultural and entertainment programs that helped the expat and national community to know Oman and MISCO better. It was quite heart-warming to see our young employees, especially Omanis, effortlessly handling compering, instruments, dancing and conducting of the event in both English and Arabic. They evoked immense interest and participation from the crowd with a variety of performances and games.
We take this opportunity to congratulate Al Muhanad al Ajmi, Ahmed al Jabri, Shahin al Balushi, Omar al Makmari, Rashid al Balushi, Mohammed al Mayasi, Mohammed al Kan, Lamya al Mamary and Zeenath Puthiyagath Bunglowil for their performances and readiness to take up initiatives.
